I’m the face behind Gail Sams Photography. I love the pretty stuff, the ridiculous stuff, and the moments you didn’t even realize were happening. But this part is less about how I photograph a wedding and more about the person who will actually be there with you for it.
I really do love getting to know the people I photograph. And I mean that. My maid of honor at my own wedding was once a complete stranger who hired me to photograph her and her boyfriend three years earlier. Somehow, a couples session turned into meeting my best friend.
Photography has given me some of my favorite people, and I think that’s a pretty cool part of this job.
When I’m not photographing weddings, there’s a very good chance I’m with my family.
I love a good thrift store and I can always find a reason to wander through Target.
I love reading, and if I have a book in my hand, there’s a very good chance it involves romance, fantasy, or both.
